eToro PIT-38 tax filing for 2025 | 2026 tax season
We have already prepared more than 4,000 PIT-38 filings for investors using foreign brokers.
The filing season for 2025 runs from 15 February to 30 April 2026. This service is for people who invested through eToro and want to file a correct PIT-38 return. This is not a tax calculator. We prepare a ready PIT-38 return for the full tax year.
eToro does not issue the Polish PIT-8C form. The value shown in the app cannot be copied directly into the tax return. Transactions must be recalculated under Polish tax rules. Different rules apply to different categories of income, including shares, CFDs, crypto, dividends, and interest. We prepare a complete PIT-38 filing together with PIT-ZG. The filing covers your eToro operations and PIT-8C forms from Polish brokers, if you have them. If you want to understand the process first, read the guide: how to file eToro in PIT-38.
This service is intended for Polish tax residents. If you are not sure whether you are a Polish tax resident, take our tax residency test.

When this service makes sense
This is for you if:
- you used eToro in the previous tax year and do not want to prepare PIT-38 yourself
- you prefer to outsource a complete tax filing instead of calculating the values yourself
- you want confidence that the filing was prepared correctly under Polish tax rules
- you want us to include your Polish brokers and PIT-8C forms in one filing
- you want us to use data from your PIT-38 from the previous year if it affects the current filing
This service is not intended for people who only want to estimate tax in a calculator. We prepare a complete PIT-38 filing ready to be submitted to the tax office.
If you also want to file operations from other foreign brokers, choose the multi broker service.
What you get
Most often this service is used by people who invested through eToro and have dozens or hundreds of transactions. Instead of recalculating each operation under NBP rates and PIT-38 rules on their own, they outsource the preparation of a complete tax filing.
We prepare one consistent filing for your eToro activity and include Polish PIT-8C forms from Polish brokers, if you have them.
You receive a ready PIT-38 return together with PIT-ZG. This is not a tax estimate or a calculator result, but a complete set of documents prepared to be filed through the e Tax Office system.
You receive a PDF report with a transaction breakdown and calculations, including NBP rates and the logic applied. The document is also clear from the tax office perspective.

Why it is not worth doing this on your own
Filing investment income requires different tax rules for different categories of income. Shares and ETFs are calculated differently from CFDs, crypto, dividends, or interest.
Data from the broker app is calculated under the broker’s own rules and does not match Polish tax rules. The most common mistake is to copy the result shown in the broker app without recalculating it under PIT-38 rules. That is why the result shown in the app cannot be used as the tax base in PIT-38.
- shares and ETFs require the FIFO method
- each transaction must be converted into PLN using the NBP rate
- dividends and withholding tax must be reported in PIT-ZG
- crypto has separate rules for cost recognition
Our service is not a tax calculator and not a simple conversion of broker report data. We prepare a full filing and a ready PIT-38 return for the full tax year. The filing is prepared in line with Polish tax law.
The filing includes, among other things, PIT-8C forms from Polish brokers, losses from previous years, unused crypto acquisition costs, and data from earlier PIT-38 returns if they affect the current filing.
You receive a complete set of documents prepared for filing with the tax office under Polish tax rules.

How to file eToro in Poland
Different rules for different categories of income
Investment income is not calculated in one uniform way for all transactions. Different rules apply to shares and ETFs, other rules to CFDs, other rules to crypto, and still other rules to dividends and capital interest.
In many cases you also need to include foreign tax withheld and assign it correctly in PIT-38 and PIT-ZG.
No PIT-8C form from eToro
Income from eToro is filed in Poland in PIT-38. The platform does not issue the Polish PIT-8C form, and reports generated in the app are not prepared under Polish tax rules.
In practice many eToro accounts contain dozens or hundreds of transactions that must be recalculated under Polish tax rules.
Recalculation under NBP rates
Each transaction must be converted into PLN using the average NBP rate from the day before the transaction. This applies to all buy and sell operations.
FIFO method and dividends
For the sale of shares and ETFs, the FIFO method applies. Foreign dividends together with withholding tax are additionally reported in PIT-ZG.
Complete PIT-38 filing
Correct eToro filing requires recalculating all transactions under Polish tax rules. It covers your operations on the eToro account as well as PIT-8C forms from Polish brokers.
You also receive a PDF report with calculations and a complete PIT-38 filing together with PIT-ZG.
You receive a complete set of documents prepared to be filed in the e Tax Office.

FAQ before purchase
Why can’t I copy the result from the broker app into PIT-38?
The broker calculates the result under its own rules. Polish PIT-38 is calculated differently, so copying the result usually ends in an error.
- Transactions are converted into PLN using the average NBP rate from the day before each transaction
- For securities, the FIFO method applies
- Foreign dividends and withholding tax are reported separately in PIT-ZG
- Income is calculated separately for different investment categories, including shares and ETFs, CFDs, crypto, dividends, and interest
This product exists so that you avoid this most common mistake.
What is the PIT-38 filing deadline?
The return for the previous year is filed between 15 February and 30 April.
What files do I need to prepare after purchase?
- Annual transaction report or account statement from eToro
- Dividend and withholding tax summary, if applicable
- Polish PIT-8C forms from Polish brokers, if you have them
Do you also include PIT-8C forms from Polish brokers?
Yes. As part of this service we prepare a complete PIT-38 filing and include all your Polish brokers who issued PIT-8C forms at no extra charge.
This means that if you also invested through Polish brokerage houses in the same year, their PIT-8C forms will be included in one consistent PIT-38 filing. We also include any dividends and other capital income reported by those brokers.
Why do you ask for my PIT-38 from the previous tax year?
In many cases we ask for your PIT-38 return from the previous year because it allows us to correctly and optimally settle the current year.
This is especially important when there were investment losses in earlier years or unused crypto acquisition costs. Thanks to this we can include all elements that affect your filing and prepare a complete and correct PIT-38 return.
Are you a Polish tax resident?
This service is intended for Polish tax residents who need to file PIT-38 in Poland. If you are not sure, use our tax residency test.
Do you have another foreign broker or crypto in the same year?
